Hadley Heath is a small peaceful hamlet surrounded by green fields and woodland and yet is conveniently situated close to Worcester, Droitwich and the M5 motorway which makes it an ideal base for both business people and tourists alike.

Our local pub - The Hadley Bowling Green - is only 2 minutes walk away and serves excellent food.  It also boasts one of the oldest crown bowling greens in the country.  Ombersley is less than 2 miles drive away.  This attractive village is renowned for its many half timbered properties and offers a further selection of excellent eating establishments.

For those who enjoy walking there is no shortage of lovely walks on well marked tracks or along the canal banks and River Severn.   There are also riding stables, golf courses, fishing lakes, sports centres and garden centres nearby.

The Old Farmhouse is conveniently situated being equidistant from Junctions 5 and 6 off the M5 motorway and just off the A449 dual carriageway (see map).

Worcester is just 10 minutes drive with its wide variety of attractions - the Cathedral, Royal Worcester porcelain factory and museum, the famous County Cricket grounds, the Guildhall, the Commandery Civil War Centre, the race course, parks and the River Severn.   For music lovers Sir Edward Elgar's birthplace at Lower Broadheath is a must to visit.   Worcester has an ever improving pedestrianised shopping centre and a Park and Ride system operates throughout the year.   We are close to Worcester Rugby grounds at Six Ways (Junction 6 M5), home of the premier club "Worcester Warriors".

We are only 5 minutes from Droitwich Spa - relax and enjoy the benefits of its famous Brine Baths, which are situated next to the large private hospital and knee clinic.

For those wishing to explore the heart of England, the Old Farmhouse is the ideal centre from which to visit Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, Cheltenham, Broadway and the Cotswolds, the Malvern Hills, Ludlow and the Welsh Borders and Birmingham with its Airport, the National Exhibition Centre and the Symphony Hall.

Railway enthusiasts can ride the steam railway running between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth, particularly at Christmas when the Santa Special runs and children will love the West Midlands Safari Park at Bewdley or the National Sealife Centre in Birmingham.   There are many National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area.
